Dr. Jacqueline Schaffer is a board-certified medical doctor, founder of Schique Cosmetics, and advocate for women’s empowerment. Originally from Northern California, Dr. Schaffer has lived in various countries around the world, earning her MD from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. During her medical studies, she founded the international charity A Sandwich A Day, which aims to feed the homeless and gives nutritional education to those in need.
In her experience as a professional model, she noticed how powerfully skin care impacted her self-confidence. Although she felt beautiful, she still wasn’t feeling as refreshed as she wanted. When she examined the ingredients found in the beauty products she used daily, she knew that the chemicals were not beneficial for her skin over time. Based on her medical background, her own personal experience, and watching her mother fight skin cancer not once but twice, she felt the injustice of how the beauty industry’s false advertisements took away women’s health and natural beauty. This resulted in her founding of Schique Cosmetics shortly after graduating from medical school. Dr. Schaffer made sure that every ingredient in her line would fight against cancers and inflammation, all while slowing down the process of aging in a natural and healthy way.
Inspired by the many faces of women around the world, Dr. Schaffer’s ultimate goal is to help women uncover their natural beauty, giving them confidence in all aspects of life.
