DIY Face Mist For Combintation Skin Type
Face mist is a must have to get through the Los Angeles heat this summer so I decided to create a refreshing mist for my guests last Thursday custom to their skin type. Not only does it set your makeup, but it also helps with: calming, hydrating, replenishing and adding radiance. Mists are beauty lifesavers and can take you from looking tired and lackluster to bright and dewy in seconds.
The combination face mist was a fun one that has;
- Mint leaves: its rich in salicylic acid which helps heal pimples quickly and prevents its recurrence. It also helps control oiliness because it contains vitamin A. Vitamin A thickens and stimulates the dermis where your collagen, elastin, blood vessels are so it reduces wrinkles and increases blood flow to the surface of the skin. It increases the deposition of collagen ; it slows the normal aging breakdown of your collagen and elating. It decrease sebum production and thus treats acne brilliantly.
- Vitamin E: Improves skin hydration snd speeds cellular regeneration on the skin. It’s full of antioxidants which are agents that neutralize the oxidant effect of free radicals, which are the molecules that damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. We don’t produce vitamin E so make sure you either take supplements or get it into your diet.
- Rose essential oil: The natural oils found in roses help lock moisture into the skin, keeping skin feeling smooth. Rose is especially beneficial for those with sensitive skin because the sugars in its petals create a soothing feeling.
